Knight and Hale Moonshiner Glass Pot Turkey Call

Beloved by Knight & Hale fans and co-founder Harold Knight himself, the Moonshiner is back with all its original components. This premium hand-turned acrylic call features a crystal surface and acrylic soundboard. 

Paired with the included one-piece Jatobá striker, how could the gobblers resist the rich sounds you’re bound to produce? Condition your striking surface with the included scouring pad to find your preferred sound.

Techniques and Use: 

• Make sure the call is appropriately conditioned with the included scouring pad.
• Hold the call away from your body; cup it between your index finger and thumb.
• Hold the striker like a pencil at a 70-degree angle to call; rest your other fingers solidly against the call.
• Apply light pressure from the striker when calling.
   

Cackle: Move striker in straight, quick, ¼" lines, 7 to 10 times.

Cluck: Move striker very quickly in straight, ¼" lines using popping motion.

Cut: Move striker very quickly in straight, ¼" lines with broken rhythm (ex. 3 notes, 2 notes, 4 notes).

Purr: Slowly slide striker in a straight, 1" line across surface. Hold striker higher for more consistent sound. Use scouring pad to create additional friction as needed.

Yelp: Move striker in a short oval or circular motion in ½" lines, producing a two-tone yelp, 5 to 7 times in each sequence.
